The company currently manages 5,600 bed spaces in Los Angeles, Irvine, Seattle, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Tucson, Austin, San Francisco, and Berkeley.

*This position will be required to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA.

Job Types: Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Manage investment portfolio of over 60 investment projects, total valuation above $400M across different states, and ensure delivery of projects on time and within budget
  • Build financial and statistical model, calculate ROI, IRR, cashflow, and other key metrics to test feasibility of potential investment projects
  • Conduct rental market analysis, demographic research, comprehensive analysis, and other data techniques to reveal market trends and generate insights about target area to expand
  • Actively manage all the assets, monitor the financial performance of each investment and constantly, assist with debt financing applications and equity fundraising efforts, prepare periodic reports to shareholders
  • Prepare cost analysis, pro forma and budget projection for potential deals, review contracts and legal documents, assist all aspects of work flow and coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and other partners to facilitate each project progress
  • Establish and build productive relationships with local market brokers, institutional and equity partners, lenders, real estate owners, and many other business partners, foster a constant yet evolving company image and better public relationships

Requirement:

  • 2 years of experience of real estate or financial related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • A self-driven problem solver who is motivated to learn about real estate industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing skills
  • Excellent financial analysis and coordination skills
