Lauderdale and Washington DC. Position OverviewThe Inventory Control Coordinator role will report to our corporate headquarters in Garden City, NY.
The position reports to Business Operations and System Technology Senior Manager. The role includes coordination with project teams, warehouse and purchasing across all offices to ensure that inventory is being properly transferred to other projects, returned from site to the associated project or general inventory and returned to vendors.
Core ResponsibilitiesResponsible for administrative requirements in D365 and other Microsoft applications to fulfill job tasks including : Using D365 to bring back inventory to either general inventory, the associated project, or return to vendorManaging RMA & Equipment Returns from Site log along with following up / assisting team members on related workflow is completedAssist procurement and warehouse with transferring of items from projects to project or general inventory reportsAssist with movement of inventory from current ERP system Dovenet / Sage (EOL) to Microsoft D365Responsible for Quarterly Inventory ReviewsLiaison between project teams, purchasing and warehouse to ensure that inventory is being properly reallocated or returned QualificationsExperience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or other ERP systems2-5 years’ experience in warehousing or procurement (AV, Security and Comms experience preferred but not required)Strong attention to detail, process-drivenAbility to work successfully with internal customersAbility to listen, analyze information, and deliver consistent quality resolutionsAbility to manage, organize and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with ongoing deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and efficiently to meet project deadlines CompensationCommensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package : Medical, Dental, Paid Family Leave, generous Paid Time Off, 10 Annual Holidays, a 401k plan with a discretionary employer match and Company paid Life Insurance and Long Term Disability.
