Responsibilities

Pursuant to International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”), applicants for SELECT positions will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residence, or U.S. Immigration Status in order to meet the minimum qualifications for those select positions. All inquiries related to citizenship are asked solely to comply with ITAR and EAR export licensing requirements.
- Primary responsibilities include part marking by use of laser marking system and rubber ink stamp method, including surface cleaning and preparation.
- Assist in final cleaning and packaging of finished goods.
- Assist in inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Learn to perform mechanical assembly, installing threaded inserts, and paint and primer touch-up.
- Determine the sequence of assembly operations in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Management System documents to optimize the process and achieve maximum productivity and quality.
- Work with hazardous chemicals such as: Acetone, alcohol, paints, sealants, and solvents.
- Prevent and monitor Foreign Object Debris.
- Check and document drawing dimensions using measuring devices.
- Maintain orderly and retrievable records of work performed and complete records of test setups, work orders, photos, and procedures.
- Use computer to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Maintain an organized, clean and safe working area.
- Adhere to cleanliness standards. (Pick up after oneself. Clean as you go)
- Communicate in a professional manner with managers, supervisors, and other associates to resolve job related issues or concerns.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: walk, stand, sit, talk and hear.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and depth perception.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Other tasks/duties/responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications
- High School Diploma, (GED) or equivalent.
- Safety orientated and willing to participate in continuous improvement team discussions.
- General mechanical knowledge/background.
- Minimum of one-year experience in manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus.
- Safe use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow instruction. (oral and written).
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Willing to work in team environment and participate in team process improvement discussions.
- Must be able to work weekend, to meet commitments to our customers
