Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Assist in the maintenance and alteration of electro-hydraulic test equipment.
Major Accountabilities:
1. Maintains operation of hydraulic test stands by performing necessary preventive maintenance, fluid cleanliness monitoring, fluid purification, filter changes, leak prevention, and cleaning.
2. Assist in providing a safe, effective, and productive work environment by installing, repairing, and maintaining test equipment and electrical components. These components include but are not limited to hydraulic pumps, relief valves, and control valves. This shall be accomplished under the general assistance and direction of the Test Maintenance supervisor.
3. Assembles/Installs new hydraulic test stands including structural, hydraulic, and electrical components.
4. Maintains an appropriate inventory of maintenance consumables and spare components.
5. Maintains a neat and orderly area in the shop and test stand areas by adhering to good housekeeping practices.
6. Provides support to the OEM testers and all departments of Triumph by responding to maintenance request and following maintenance instructions.
7. Contributes to team effort by maintaining a positive outlook. Complies with all company policies and procedures, including all safety requirements.
8. Other duties as assigned to ensure customer needs are met. Qualifications
Physical Requirements:
Work may require bending, carrying up to 40 lbs. Sitting or standing up to a minimum for eight hours per day
Minimum Education Required: High school diploma or GED.
Minimum Years of Experience Required: Associates degree in an electronics/mechanical discipline, or 3-5 years in aviation maintenance, manufacturing, or testing environment.
Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
1. Detailed knowledge of industrial electronics, electrical/hydraulic diagrams, electrical controls, and hydraulics.
2. May be required to lifting, pulling, and carrying up to (40) pounds.
3. Frequently bending, climbing stairs, pulling, and reaching overhead.
4. Standing up to (10) hours a day, sitting up to (10) hours a day, or a combination of standing and sitting.
5. Ability to read/write in the English language.
6. Dasylab/Labview experience.
