General Overview:
Provide support in functional areas of human resources which may include, training, leave processing, recruitment, Associate relations, benefits administration. Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures.
Duties
- Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company Associates; assist in development and implementation of Human Resource policies and procedures.
- Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
- Conduct Associate relations investigations / counseling.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Maintain an atmosphere of teamwork by maintaining a positive and cooperative attitude, and personal responsibility.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Continually seeking information and sharing of information with the Human Resource Team.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
- Demonstrate personal initiative for new ideas and individual skill development.
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Experience:
- Knowledge of principles and practices of human resource information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools.
- Working knowledge of payroll systems (ADP or Paycor), HRIS systems a plus
- Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking
- Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail and analytically driven
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact positively with Associates from widely diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Requirements:
- Associates / Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related plus 2 years of human resource related experience required.
