Position Description
The Assistant Mechanic assists the Maintenance Team with preventative maintenance for the Golf Course’s Maintenance equipment. The candidate will work directly with the Equipment Manager to maintain and service the fleet. The current fleet is a Toro Lease and will be replaced in 2024. The applicant needs to be self-motivated, career oriented and a forward thinker that is a proactive team player.
Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
Job Requirements
- Knowledgeable in diagnostics and repairs of both gas and diesel engines
- Understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Proper reel grinding and HOC adjustments
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Prior high-end private club experience a plus
- Spanish speaking is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work with, train, and develop crew members
- Valid Driver’s License
