What are the responsibilities and job description for the Steward position at Troon?
Angel Park Golf Club is seeking a Steward for both part-time and full-time dishwashers to maintain cleanliness in and around our kitchen. This is an amazing opportunity to serve on a dynamic management team at an exclusive private country club. Advancement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities of the Steward:
- Cleans, sanitizes and properly stocks of all dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware.
- Maintains cleanliness of entire kitchen including dry storage and walk-in cooler, sweeping & mopping.
- Empties the kitchen trash receptacles and properly disposes of garbage.
- Performs daily cleaning to include dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods and exhaust system.
- Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
- Maintains a clean dry dock storage area.
- Is a team player.
- Mops floors.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance set forth by the Health Department and Angel Park.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
- 6 month experience preferred, but not required.
- Stable work history.
- Valid work cards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Fluently speak and write the English language.
- Flexible scheduling
