About this Role The Sr. Client Relationship Manager is an integral part of the team responsible for retaining and growing U.S. Intermediaries (USI) Wealth Management Platforms (WMP) relationships in partnership with the National Account Manager (NAM). The incumbent works within the Wealth Management channel and has direct interaction with relationship management, product management/investment decision-makers, marketing and other key contacts at client firms as agreed upon and delineated with the NAM, based on the needs of the client. The Sr. Client Relationship Manager is also the champion of the client voice internally and accountable for navigating internal groups on behalf of the client. Role Summary Partners with the National Account Manager on assigned complex client relationships to support the strategic and business management functions with client service, marketing, and distribution efforts. Ensures client satisfaction, a swift response to client needs, efficient problem resolution, contract and operational compliance, and risk mitigation. Assists in identifying account growth opportunities based on client goals that may cross multiple business unit services/offerings and reviews with clients to ensure their needs are met spanning multiple products/services. Responsibilities: Proactively consults on a range of client relationships, listens for cues on client needs, and ensures continued client satisfaction and retention. Keeps the client informed of key T. Rowe Price initiatives, organizational updates, and resources available. Working in partnership with the NAM, this position maintains consultative working relationships with relationship management, product management and development, marketing, and other key contacts at WMP firms. Promotes firm services and offerings to assigned clients based on understanding of clients' objectives. Identifies cross-sell opportunities for products and services that may span across multiple segments/channels. Structures deals in the best interests of the client and the firm. Directly manages complex client projects and oversees the successful execution of client initiatives. Tracks and reports on client metrics. Contributes to the identification and development of appropriate metrics. Keeps abreast of client relationship activity occurring throughout the firm. Liaises with relevant business contacts (internally and externally) to coordinate service to the client. Escalates relevant issues to senior team members or management. Applies high client service protocols to support client satisfaction. Partner with the NAM to define strategy and execute on the strategic account plan. Ensure successful outcomes for meetings involving TRP subject matter experts. Partner across the Wealth Management Home Office Sales teams to ensure proper alignment and understanding of client initiatives and policies. Manage the client/prospect meeting needs from the point of intake to final close out of last follow up item, including conducting due diligence calls, on-site meetings, and select off-site meetings. Travel as necessary and in accordance with TRP policy as travel restrictions are lifted Analyzes complex data, trends, and strategies to keep up to date with client relationship performance. Leverages data and uses complex key metrics to directly manage and respond to client inquiries; resolves problems and makes recommendations within scope of knowledge. Partners with teams across the enterprise to understand best practices in client services, applicable regulatory requirements, industry trends, and competitor services/offerings. Stay current on industry trends and global markets; must be an expert in the wealth management channel; know the channel players, the structure, touch points, channel trends, challenges, etc.; attend relevant industry conferences as appropriate. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND 5 years of total relevant work experience This role requires the FINRA FINRA Requirements FINRA licenses Series 7 and Series 63 licenses are required and will be supported for this role. Licenses may be obtained within the first 3 months of hire if not currently held. Work Flexibility This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week. Regional Requirements Wage Transparency Disclosure* - Colorado and California: Minimum salary (USD) range $80,000- $136,000 Annual *Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance. Salary range disclosure as required by sb19-085 when hiring in Colorado, S9427A when hiring in New York, SB 1162 when hiring in California, and SB 5761 when hiring in the State of Washington. Base salary range for the primary location of: San Francisco, CA$80,000.00 - $136,000.00 USD Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
