Job Posting for Lecturer - Counselor Education at Troy University
The Lecturer position in Counselor Education is a full-time, non-tenure-track position and is responsible for teaching graduate-level courses in the professional field of Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling; supervising students in practicum and internship; academic advisement to program students; availability to students during set weekly office hours on campus; continued professional development; ongoing scholarship and research; developing and maintaining community relations; attending required faculty meetings; and other duties as determined by the department, college and university. Teaching responsibilities may include multiple sites with evening and weekend formats.
In Class Teaching Percentage Online Teaching Percentage Minimum Qualifications
1. Earned doctorate degree in Counselor Education from a CACREP program
2. Valid state license as a professional counselor
Preferred Qualifications
1. Eligible for LMHC in the State of Florida
2. Teaching experience at the graduate level
3. Experience working as a Mental Health Counseling Professional
