Maintains the physical functionality of facility including guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas. Performs a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry. Inspects guestrooms, public space and heart-of-the-house for needed and preventive maintenance. Records and reports completed repairs and items that need further attention.
What will I be doing?
Tru by Hilton in Sterling Heights is actively seeking a skilled maintenance tech to handle upkeep and preventative care of this focused service hotel. Duties include:
*Light plumbing, HVAC, patching, painting, drywall repair, door repairs, janitorial, organizing, facilities maintenance, and compliance of all functioning components of the hotel.
Candidates must be experienced and have a desire to work and complete maintenance requirements and projects assigned in a timely manner and without issue. Must have reliable transportation and no work schedule restrictions. Hotel is open 24/7/365 to include holidays and weekends. Primary schedule is 9a-4pm 5 days a week and then on call for any urgent guest needs or hotel issues that may arise.
