Job Description
- This role will target new business development, encompassing all areas of our supply chain - from truckload and LTL consolidation to warehousing and 3PL services.
- This role will be charged with establishing new relationships and opportunities to generate revenue growth.
What will you be responsible for?
- You will lead the sales effort coordinating new business information, while working internally with operations and pricing.
- You will be responsible for developing and executing action plans that will lead to new business.
- You will prospect and understand the business challenges of today within the supply chain and build upon opportunities that align not only with immediate revenue, but mid and long term as well.
Your Experience Includes:
- · A minimum of 5 years Transportation/Logistics/Supply Chain sales experience.
- · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- · New business prospecting skills that deliver short, mid & long term.
- · Fiscal management and critical thinking skills.
- · Collaborating with a team first mentality.
- · Existing book of business ideal, but not required.
