This position will have Jackson County (Jackson, MI) or Wayne County (Westland, MI) as a home base.

What are the schedules like?
- Monday - Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. - 5 : 30 p.m.
- After an initial six months of in-house training, there may be the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule, based on the needs of the department
What does orientation and training look like?
Paid orientation will be held at our main branch at 1100 Clinton Road, Jackson MI or at our branch at 1747 South Newburgh Road, Westland MI 48186 .
It will be the first 6 days of your employment.
Then you will spend up to six months working side-by-side with an existing Member Solutions Specialist learning the ropes
Who are we looking for?
- Someone with a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Along with 1-2 years of related experience
- And has knowledge of computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, Instant Messaging, and the ability to navigate various software programs and / or internet websites
What does a Member Solutions Specialist do?
- Contacts customers regarding overdue payments through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence
- Works with customers to establish repayment plans and negotiate settlements if necessary
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities
- Is an advisor for the customer who needs help getting back on track
- Determines when loan collateral should be repossessed
- Attends hearings and appears in court for all necessary legal representation
