TTS Direct Marketing Agent Job Description
Our Direct Marketing Agents canvass neighborhoods in our territory as a unified team of representatives. They work together and support one another as they strive to meet both shared and individual goals and set qualified appointments for our in-home Design Consultants. Canvassers play a pivotal role in our company’s success with the power to set the tone for our customer relationships by applying their skillful communication tactics to honestly and authentically build trust and show care for the unique needs and preferences of each prospect. They are an emissary of the company, bringing our solutions directly to consumers and setting the expectation for how True Texas Solar respects the honor of being welcomed into our customer’s homes. In these conversations, they demonstrate their knowledge and expertise to adeptly address concerns, highlight benefits, and provide relevant information. Customer service and sales skills like conversational agility empower our agents to adapt their approach and deliver tailored solutions based on the responses they receive. Resilience in the face of potential rejection and the ability to maintain professional enthusiasm in any situation are essential characteristics of their success. Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the following:
- Providing Signature Service to any and all people encountered as an agent of True Texas Solar, including coworkers and customers.
- Ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures
- Maintaining a healthy team culture by engaging in WhatsApp conversation, supporting team members, and offering help where needed
- Demonstrating integrity in all interactions with team members, office staff, and homeowners
- Meeting set goals as outlined by management
- Maintaining a safe and productive environment in both the office and the field
- Making sure to have all the necessary equipment daily
- Meeting uniform and hygiene requirements
- Keeping the Canvassing work area clean, including the company vehicle, while in use
- Utilizing continuous improvement and training opportunities
- Engaging in training methods like role-playing activities to improve interactions with homeowners
- Utilizing all performance management tools and processes offered by True Texas Solar
- Meeting attendance and performance expectations
- Performing any other related, unrelated, unassigned, unspecified, out of the ordinary or special duties assigned
Below are actions and indicators which reflect effective Signature Service:
- Maintaining a safe and productive environment for yourself and the team
- Achieving a minimum of appointments and five demos per pay period
- Setting successful appointments by:
- Following and memorizing our scripting practices
- Actively participating during in-field and classroom training
- Always conduct yourself in a professional manner
- Achieving a successful demo rate of 78%, which is qualified as:
- Confirming Needs to reduce energy costs
- Setting the expectation for a 60-90-minute consultation
- Ensuring that all homeowners will be present for consultation
- Ensuring that all company timelines and policies are upheld
- Making sure that personal lunch and Knock timelines are being met
- Providing effective communication with your internal teams, leadership, and the public
- Reinforcing and contributing to a positive team culture by:
- Communicating areas of growth regularly with your team lead and Direct Marketing Leadership
- Encouraging an exciting, inclusive, and determined atmosphere
- Ensuring privileged and/or confidential information is protected and that you do your part to ensure our organization’s security remains uncompromised.
- Participate in individual performance reviews.

Pay: $15.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
