Summary Of Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Compliance Administrator (QACA) will have the responsibility of Audit coordination with support from other Internal Auditors to effectively manage the internal and external audit program. This includes all internal audits for each Quality Management System (QMS). Additionally, the QACA will track the Costs of Quality related to each QMS certification and/or licensing (AISC, API, STI, UL, PLASTEEL, NTPEP, City of LA, etc.) and manage the compliance and effectiveness of the documentation within each QMS to the applicable standard.
Essential Job Functions
Coordinate the Internal Audit program and improve compliance efforts at each facility.
Oversee all internal audits for timely completion, effectiveness, and follow up of audit finding corrective actions.
Assign Internal Auditor(s) and Audit schedule ensuring timely completion, effectiveness, and required follow-up of Audit findings at each facility.
Manage all internal audit documents for compliance to the relevant standard and/or specification.
Attend 3rd Party External Audits for re-certification, renewal, and surveillance Audits under the guidance of the Director of Quality Assurance.
Track the costs of Quality memberships, dues, Audit fees, premiums, Standards, etc.
Monitor and review new and/or revised documents for compliance with relevant certifications.
Communicate to Quality Managers when new or revised industry certification documents are released for training.

Knowledge, Skills, And Qualities
Must have a strong internal customer service focus which leads to a culture of teamwork within Quality, Sales, Production, and all peripheral business functions.
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Must have general computer experience using Microsoft programs. (Word, Excel, etc.)
Ability to work individually as well as within a team environment.
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in correspondence.
Ability to perform accurately and thoroughly.
Ability to effectively manage time to organize and complete work within deadlines.
Ability for overnight travel to all facilities when required ~25%.
Education And Work Experience
High School diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
Experience within a certified company preferred. (ISO, AISC, API, NCSPA, etc.)
Auditor experience preferred or, at a minimum, Auditing experience within industry Standards as described above.
