What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Manager position at TrueSense Marketing?
Job Summary: As a Marketing Manager at TrueSense Marketing you are responsible for the management of specific B2B marketing activities that educate the nonprofit sector on agency capabilities and expertise, and ultimately advance sales leads to prospective clients. You may be called on to assist with creation of some of these activities. You will be supported by agency resources in creative, data and digital to make your vision and programs a reality.
Essential Functions:
- Work closely to understand the needs and wants of the leadership teams of each market vertical served to establish marketing calendars, plans, collateral and priorities.
- Manage the corporate conference calendars, including conferences, blogs, agency social media, webcasts, etc.
- In conjunction with key staff, help develop themes, outreach, pre- and post-conference communications, assist Sales with lead follow-up and marketing sequences, calculate conference ROI, and manage custom collateral as needed.
- Maximize our use of HubSpot to generate increased activity through links to web site and campaign activity, and assist Sales in identifying and connecting with leads, when necessary.
- Manage drip marketing campaigns to cold prospects, and warm and hot leads.
- Develop reporting and track trending of campaign and website effectiveness.
- In conjunction with the Vertical owners, the creative team and project manager, mange the creation and distribution of collateral marketing material: whitepapers, insight reports, client references testimonials, and case studies capitalizing on agency success.
- In conjunction with our thought leaders, manage “QuickByte” webinars that present to the market our and address key and timely market issues.
- Manage our two blogs, including maintaining content calendar assignments and tracking
- Ensure logs meet keyword and other technical standards for optimized SEO value.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in direct response marketing, marketing agency, or non-profit fundraising required.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated success in new business development required.
