Manage and lead a team of 6-10 Business Intelligence Analysts and support key stakeholders and senior leaders throughout Mortgage Lending. Drive planning, staffing and ensure proper execution and quality review of delivered projects. Lead the creation and delivery of actionable reporting to influence business decisions for forecasting, business analysis, business planning, KPI/KRI development, strategy, and new or existing business unit initiatives. Additionally, will collaborate with other internal BI Teams to identify and mitigate risks, bottlenecks and issues affecting Business Intelligence customer satisfaction.Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Lead and motivate a team of 6-10 Business Intelligence Analysts in the execution of data wrangling, report development, BI development, and dashboard creation to meet demand timely.
2. Proactively identify and analyze requests for proper prioritization and conduct analysis that drives meaningful change through the use of reporting and BI visualizations/dashboards.
3. Interface with data architect and development teams in IT and the Enterprise Data Office and troubleshoot complex data issues.
4. Be adept at managing competing priorities across the entire Line of Business through careful capacity planning and resource alignment to meet demand timely.
5. Ensure the Business Intelligence Analysts manage risk through the adherence of an audit approved Service Delivery Life Cycle to include documentation, testing, approvals, change and access controls as well as governed data usage.
6. Promote culture of excellence, data driven discussions, knowledge sharing and teamwork.
7. Mentor, coach and develop team of 6-10 Business Intelligence analysts.
8. Regularly communicate the benefits of Business Intelligence to key stakeholders to promote the value of existing and potential new user adoption.
Required Qualifications:

1. Ten or more years of cumulative experience in Mortgage, Finance, Technology or related fields
2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Information Sciences, Technology, or equivalent education and related training
3. Working knowledge of BI systems and reporting tools, such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, and SAS.
4. Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format to present findings in a clear manner.
5. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of database theory and practice, database structures and query languages/concepts
6. Small to mid-size project management experience
7. Strong organization, problem solving and analytical skills
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
1. Demonstrated expertise in design, development and implementation of successful business intelligence and data analytics programs
2. Master's degree or higher.
3. Fifteen years of experience working in Financial Services or Mortgage industry
4. Passion for new and emerging technology and its applications to solve business problems
5. Distinctive problem-solving and analysis skills, combined with good business judgment
