Supports the Commercial Credit Operations SBA Closing Function. Ensures all information is complete and accurate, all standards, guidelines, policies and procedures and regulations are followed.

Senior position, with focus on transactions of highest size, risk, complexity and/or industry specialization, including complex real estate transactions

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight time constraints

• Advance commercial credit knowledge
• Advanced proficiency in reviewing title work, surveys, collateral, lien filings, appraisals and environmental reports
• Knowledge of loan and retail systems

• Post Secondary education or equivalent work experience
• Prior experience or knowledge of commercial loan closing and lending regulatory requirements
• 6 years experience in credit operations, loan consultation or administration
• 7 year of experience in the execution of legal documentation and associated processes
• Demonstrated experience or knowledge of loan closing and lending regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of explaining the loan closing process, exceptions and associated legal documentation to internal, external clients and appropriate counsel

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or certificate in related field

• Professional license or specialized training in escrow, title, real estate, government programs (SBA and EXIM), and specialized lending programs
