The core purpose of this role is to formulate, develop, and ensure successful execution of the Community Heroes program, delivering distinctive solutions and experiences for those who care for our communities and ensuring associated business performance results. This includes orchestrating the ideation, design, and delivery of existing and enhanced offerings across one or more Community Hero cohorts in partnership with marketing, product, channel, technology, enablement, and other stakeholders across the bank. Additionally, this role will play a key role in shaping the vision for Community Heroes.
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Drivethe development of solution, channel, and experience strategy for one or more Community Heroes cohorts(For example Teammates, Small Business, Healthcare, Military/Veterans, etc.).
2. Support overall awareness and engagement in Community Heroes by driving and delivering Retail Small Business Banking and Truist presentations and communications.
3.Drive analysis of banking landscape as it relates to one or more Community Hero cohorts, emerging trends, and perspective on competitive threats emerging from banking and adjacent to banking sectors.
4. Support resource allocation, investment and initiative prioritization by partnering with stakeholders (digital, finance, marketing) and associated realization insights.
5. Coordinate across key strategic initiatives including (but not limited to) identification of high value opportunities and points of differentiation to win with high value segments (including launching initiatives to acquire new households and deepen within Community Heroes cohorts.
6.Orchestrate initiatives supporting one or more Community Heroes cohorts and other strategic initiatives across RSBB and the bank - Partner with BU teams to drive initiative implementation: including (but not limited to) project management (establishing timelines, critical path, milestones, RACI and associated deliverables).
7. Build and cultivate relationships with a broad group of stakeholders - engage, partner, and collaborate across a highly matrixed set of internal, cross-functional partners, stakeholders, and business partners, often within a different reporting lines, as well as third-party providers.
8. Includes potential coordination with Truist Ventures, Truist Foundation, Corporate Strategy, and others to formulate strategic and/or community partnerships to help deliver distinctive solutions and experiences for our Community Heroes as applicable.
9.On an ongoing basis, continue to formulate new strategic initiatives by drawing on analytics / insights; partner with product and channel teams to drive delivery of differentiated products and client experiences by segment
10. Serve as a change champion, creating clarity from ambiguity to drive engagement and adoption
11. May manage a team
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Strong academic credentials - college degree (MBA preferred)
2. Ten years of experience, or equivalent experience and related training
3. Distinctive communication skills (written and verbal communication)
4. Background in consumer financial services / banking
5. Problem-solving skills, ability to distil insights from large data-sets, strong analytical, communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in strategy consulting / strategic planning roles
2. Deep knowledge of consumer / small business / direct banking
3. Proven ability to collaborate across organizational siloes
4. Ability to lead by influence
