Our client is an organization in the Marathon County area looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 6 years of accounting experience, detail oriented, and has Manufacturing experience. The salary range for this position is $110k – $140k bonus.
The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow established internal controls and accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting principles, applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Manage and maintain the system of financial records management in accordance with established Company procedures and practices.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and year end audit, and analyze results to provide insights.
- Lead the annual budgeting processing, working with department leads.
- Manage and mentor the accounting and finance team, providing guidance and support for professional development.
The Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. CPA preferred.
- 6 years of professional accounting experience, preferably as a senior-level or finance manager.
- Background in financial accounting systems, practices, data analysis, and methods.
- Strong knowledge of state and local tax policies, compliance, and regulations.
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite strongly preferred.
- Experience in Manufacturing required.
