Qualifications: Behavior Technician (BT) Must be a Behavior Technician (BT) in good standing. High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in a related field is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to work with individuals with autism. Ability to work effectively in one-on-one and group settings. Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
Responsibilities: Behavior Technician (BT) Implement behavior intervention plans created by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Conduct one-on-one ABA therapy sessions with clients. Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions. Assist in conducting assessments and skill acquisition programs. Collaborate with the BCBA and the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation. Communicate effectively with clients' families and caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
