Program Description: At the Butler Center, males (ages 12-21) committed to the Department of Youth Services with emotional and mental health diagnoses are able to develop and practice strategies that will enable them to manage their behavior. Treatment is delivered by a multidisciplinary team comprised of licensed clinicians, educators (with certification in Special Education), and specially trained Youth Counselors with an ultimate goal of young men in our service returning safely to the community. Job Description: This position is for a Clinician within a hardware secure treatment setting. This role provides individual, group, and family therapy to a caseload of five to eight residents. The Clinician is an integral member of the resident's interdisciplinary treatment team and is responsible for the development of individually tailored treatment plans, as well as all case documentation utilizing the DYS electronic medical record system. The Clinician will also be responsible for facilitating groups which covers topics including, but not limited to, substance abuse treatment and prevention, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and violent offending. The Clinician will be expected to maintain professionalism and work alongside other professionals, within DYS, and as needed with other agencies. Clinical supervision is provided and licensure supported. This full time position is Tuesday through Saturday with one evening required. PhD/PsyD in APA approved psychology program. Candidates must have clinical licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LICSW) or able to sit for clinical licensure. Upon attainment of independent licensure, Clinicians receive a $5000 raise. Candidates must maintain a valid driver's license as transporting youth that we serve is required. Candidates must be available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
