Position Description: The principal is the administrator immediately responsible for the effective management of the school building and for the achievement of the district's instructional goals. The principal supervises and assigns the personnel of the building consistent with the district's philosophy. In this and all other matters related to the operation of the school, the principal complies with all state and federal legal requirements, board policies, and district procedures.

- Middle School Athletic Director (along with experienced Middle School Athletic Secretary)
- District Curriculum Director: Coordinates and completes Curriculum Adoption for the District
- State Assessment Coordinator
- District STEM Coordinator
- Participates as part of the 6-12 CTE Team
- Facilitator of ideas; empowers staff to create programs to meet the needs of school and support departments, and to solve problems
- Demonstrated knowledge of STEM education
- Demonstrated ability to provide positive and enthusiastic leadership, evaluate effectiveness of operations and accept responsibility
- Demonstrated ability to support and maintain school and district policies and to successfully plan and complete assigned responsibilities within identified resources and timelines
- Demonstrated ability in effective group process skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to foster cooperative relationships and proactively resolve differences
- Commitment to the pursuit of excellence in student performance
- Strong time management skills
- A valid Oregon School Administrator License (preferred)
