Neuroimaging Acquisition Coordinator
The Psychosis Research Center is recruiting a Neuroimaging Acquisition Coordinator for a collaborative NIH funded research project. The multi-site study will examine the dose-related effects of a potential therapeutic on neuroimaging biomarkers in schizophrenia patients. The project involves multiple visits for each participant, adherence to inclusion/exclusion criteria, clinical and cognitive assessment, laboratory tests, MRI scanning and data integration.
The Neuroimaging Acquisition Coordinator’s responsibilities include conducting informed consent/assent process, preparing participants for MRI scanning, MRI data acquisition and quality assessment. Other duties include administering neurocognitive tasks and maintaining accurate, complete and timely records. She/he will also work on uploading data into relevant databases and accurately maintaining project databases and other participant-related information.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in biomedical related field with 1 to 3 years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. A trained person with experience working in fMRI studies, preferably with individuals with brain disorders, is optimal to meet the study needs. Candidates must possess demonstrated computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, data management skills, and experience working independently.
Background check required. Must pass Pennsylvania s Child Protective Services Act (also known as Act 73) background checks, within 30-90 days of employment. Position contingent on funding.
