As our Eye Care Technician you will bring:

Requirements:

  • Ability to adapt to change

Preferred, but not required:

  • Previous optical experience
  • Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C)
  • Medical terminology
  • Familiarity with Crystal PM or other optometric EHR software

Duties:

  • Collecting patient history
  • Perform routine and medically necessary testing as needed, including usage of autorefractor, lensometer, fundoscope, OCT and Visual Field devices
  • Entering patient information into our EHR as needed
  • Assisting and educating the patient under supervision of the doctor
  • Conducting contact lens training for new users
  • Other duties as required

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

  • Optical: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Medical records: 1 year (Preferred)
