What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Acquisition & Training Director position at TS Mobility Inc.?
We are looking for an experienced professional to support the sales hiring needs for a region of territories, and to prepare, coordinate and evaluate educational programs for our employees. This position plays a key role in promoting the core values and culture of our company.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, hiring, and placement of talented staff and leaders across our company
- Source a pipeline of qualified candidates by utilizing various resume databases and platforms provided
- Drive engagement at the store level in new hire training while creating excitement for the mission and principles of TS Mobility and AT&T.
- Effectively deliver AT&T and TS Mobility required training content.
- Leverages personal experience to illustrate concepts and drive adoption of best practices.
- Track attendance and engagement while providing timely reporting and feedback to management on new hire progress.
- Partner with store managers/district managers to maximize ongoing sales & product training for new hires.
- Manage multiple design projects using sound project management tools and methodologies.
- Maintain an up-to-date library of training resources, course content, policies, and procedures.
- Review edit and re-design existing curriculum as needed.
- Design, pilot, and launch new curriculum as needed.
- Proactively seek new ways to conduct program effectiveness reviews.
- Work with subject matter experts to proactively obtain and validate courseware content.
- Effectively implement training solutions.
- Establish relationships with store managers/ district managers to ensure timely response to training needs.
- Offer performance consulting solutions and strategies.
- Proactively introduce new training tools and concepts into the training development process including interactive video and audio.
- Routinely visits training locations to inspect and improve the learning experience and identify additional training needs.
- This position supports a retail sales organization so weekend hours and travel may be required.
Requirements:
- Two (2) years of previous experience as a trainer/recruiter, corporate training specialist, or related position
- One (1) year of experience in wireless retail (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, or T-Mobile) preferred
- Very Good knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Excel is required.
- Expert Communication skills.
- Very Good knowledge of virtual presentation platforms (Adobe Connect, WebEx, Zoom, Teams) and experience with virtual and in-person Instructor lead facilitation.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and adjust quickly in short timeframes.
- Ability to travel
- Ability to work 45-50 hours per week and potential weekend work
