Qualifications: Good understanding of business planning task implemented based on Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle. Good understanding of 5P and capable of analyzing issues with the method.
Native level of Japanese language (read write and speak) and business level of English language (read write and speak) are essential. Work experience of Accounting and/or Cost Accounting field is preferred. Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Business Planning
- Communicate with each department as the liaison of Business Planning to promote their daily activities scheduled in Action Plan project and other Business Planning initiated projects
- Control Business Planning assigned documents.
- Assist and report to Business Planning Manager in furnishing monthly “budget vs. actual” variance analysis presented to President for further management decision and/or North America headquarters.
- Prepare periodical reports submitted to the Japanese headquarters.
-Budget/ Variance Analysis
- Preparing each section’s budget
- Assist and report to Business Planning Manager in furnishing monthly “budget vs. actual” variance analysis presented to President for further management decision and/or North America headquarters.
-General Duties
- Document translation/ interpretation.
- Support development of 5S and Kaizen programs.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Good understanding of practices and procedures within a JIT manufacturing environment.
- Perform administrative support tasks according to established procedures.
- Complete a broad range of duties involving confidential and/or technical information.
- Act as an administrative liaison with internal and external sources.
- Have the ability to translate/interpret in Japanese all required company information.
- Prepare routine correspondence, compile report data, and complete forms or reports.
- Provide support to other Japanese associates acclimating to the community.
- Support development of 5S, TPM and Kaizen programs.
- Ensure safe operations.
- Will ensure daily control items align with the company business plan and key objectives/metrics.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Requires basic computer and clerical skills and the ability to translate/interpret the Japanese language.
