Ouray Sportswear is looking for a Rockstar Embroidery QA to join our fun Embroidery team. We offer a business casual work environment.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and thoroughly understand work orders to determine garment, design information, dates, style/color, location, threads, and any other notes.
• Examines for irregularities, like faulty coloring, shaping, centering, and stitching.
• Ability to complete route scans accurately.
• Inspect and complete garments according to work order instructions and trim threads, if needed.
• Make sure correct special finishing requirements are applied.
• Package garments as specified.
• Report orders as finished and accurately account for scraps.
• Must have a high attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required (unless otherwise noted):

• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Knowledge and skill sufficient to read signs and follow oral and written instructions.
• Previous experience with apparel, apparel decoration and/or hand sewing a plus.
• Must have strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to discern colors and close vision required to thread needles.
• Comfortable working in fast paced, high volume environment.
• Dependability and ability to work in a team atmosphere.

• Automated embroidery machines, thread, needles, fabrics and/or garments, and other sewing goods.
