TSC is seeking a Material Control Lead in our Huntsville, AL location.

Responsibilities:
The Material Control Lead is responsible for the overall management of inventory flow from receiving to product shipment. This includes receiving activities, inventory management, inventory movement (i.e., parts kitting/auditing, material transfers, inventory parts request, cycle counts, annual inventory, etc.) and product shipment. This position is part of the supply chain team, and will work closely with the production floor, material planning, program management, purchasing, and quality assurance. In addition, the Material Control Lead will supervise the Material Control team.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Must have at least 3 years of supervisor experience.
- Comprehensive experience with Deltek Costpoint Material Module or similar system
- Strong knowledge of material control principles, procedures, and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience with ISO-9001 or AS9100 quality standards and how they apply to inventory management
- Understanding of manufacturing orders, BOMs, and configuration control
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience working with other internal groups such as supply chain, program management, material planning, and purchasing in order to support overall inventory flow
