The Property Data Collector gathers commercial property information, including landscape mapping, architectural measurements, utility services, and other property information, translating real world commercial properties into accurate, interactive digital site plans.
Our surveyors accurately survey, measure, and gather data on every element of a commercial property, inside and out, including parking areas, rooftops, HVAC units, landscape, utility meters, dumpsters, bathroom measurements, window heights, outlets, and more.
You will be trained to create virtual tours and online site plans using laser measuring tools, 3D Cameras, aerial maps, and computers report on every aspect of a commercial property.
\n- Politely and professionally communicate and engage with property managers, utility service providers, site security, members of the public, and internal team members.
- Regularly report on progress, respond to inquiries, and assist fellow specialists.
- Attend video conference meetings, team calls, trainings, and discussion channels.
- Quickly and accurately gather utility meter information (water, gas, electric), including calling local utility companies for assistance.
- Survey and map landscape (square footage, tree lines, shrubbery, pathways, etc.).
- Draw spaces to scale and add verified data using proprietary software.
- Count and plot parking spaces, speed bumps, and other pavement details.
- Record fire and safety equipment information, including location of access panels.
- Photograph and note details of all signage, spaces, and equipment data such as HVAC and dumpster size, location, manufacturer, model, serial, etc.
- Survey, map, measure, and gather data to record details such as wall lengths, window heights, restroom spaces, closets, doors, outlets, vents, and more.
- Use software and equipment such as laser distance meters, 3D cameras, measuring wheels, ladders, and hand tools.
- Draw with an iPad or laptop using proprietary software.
- Safely climb onto roofs and work outside for most of workday in all types of weather.
- Complete assigned training timely and demonstrate proficiency with safety, customer service, communication, technical skills, and other proficiencies.
- Complete and submit HR paperwork timely and accurately.
- Other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

- Meticulous attention to detail and strong accuracy: This role requires capturing complex data without errors, ensuring quality and credibility of final site plans.
- Technical proficiency: Familiarity with laser measuring tools, 3D cameras, and aerial or topography maps is a plus. Strong iPad and general computer skills, including use of stylus pen or Apple Pencil. Can download and update apps, connect to WiFi, Bluetooth, and use smartphone navigation and messaging without technical assistance.
