Job Summary
The HR and Office Manager is responsible for the smooth operation of the business through employee relations, compliance, payroll and ensuring the office is functioning at peak.
Job Responsibilities
- Demonstrate our Core Values of Safety, Accountability, Good to Great and All In
- Manage the staffing process including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date
- Help employees understand their jobs and duties
- Communicate with all employees
- Investigate employee issues and complaints and conflicts and bring them to resolution
- Ensure compliance with various regulations
- Collect and verify employee work hours and payroll
- Manage benefits, insurances and 401K
- Manage the employee handbook and modify when necessary
- Plan and produce employee events
- Manage and maintain month to month HR budget
- Manage office supply inventory
- Order office supplies
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma and some college preferred but not required
- Experience with Human Resources in a business strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to be highly organized
- High communication skills
Job Locations
-The HR/Office Manager will work out of both our Norfolk, VA & Chesapeake, VA locations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
