Job DescriptionThis position reports to the designated Dual Credit lead at each location and works collaboratively with Student Learning, Enrollment Management, Recruitment, Career services and Workforce Training. The Dual Credit Recruitment Representative will conduct presentations to diverse groups, assist in recruitment, student registration, and outreach activities with the primary emphasis on Dual Credit initiatives impacting dual credit student enrollment, and specifically pathway growth in an ISD, along with increasing matriculation rates to TSTC after graduation. The DC representative will serve as primary contact for students, parents, and counselors to communicate dual credit pathway opportunities. Activities include but are not limited to: high school visits, campus tours, prospective student follow-up and coordination of special events. This position is accountable for meeting dual credit recruitment goals for a specific geographical areas of the state of Texas. This position may require up to 50% travel.Essential Functions
Employee will demonstrate TSTC Core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service and Integrity with internal and external stakeholders, customers, students and members of the community.
Coordinate with counselors, teachers, prospective students, to conduct dual credit presentations highlighting opportunities to a variety of audiences. Organize, plan and coordinate DC events including program showcases, application and registration drives.
Maintain contact with students and schools, and work to achieve enrollment goals.
Maintains a clear understanding of the enrollment processes and services offered to
our students.Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with college departments and high school administration/personnel to enhance customer services. Serve as a liaison between high school administration and TSTC faculty and staff.
Make effective small and large group presentations on the dual credit program. Be adequately informed on campus services (admissions, financial aid, testing, and program requirements) available to new or prospective students.
Provide academic advising to students, individually or in a group, about dual credit/college policies, program of study and degree options. Assist students in completing dual credit admissions and registration process and documentation. Assist students identify career and educational goals.
Work closely with Enrollment Management, to troubleshoot student registration issues. Maintains Colleague information relevant to the prospective student follow up process. Including maintaining student records of specified material in accordance with standardized system practices to ensure compliance with records management, privacy, and office procedures. Compile internal and external statistical reports on matters related to semester enrollment goals.
Perform student outreach to ensure student success based on metrics established by DC Directors
Continuously work with high school administration and students to promote matriculation to TSTC upon high school graduation by meeting with students on a bi-monthly basis. Provide advising to students on options and admissions requirements post high school graduation.
Demonstrates knowledge of TEA, THECB, and TAC codes, policies and regulations and communicates expectations to ISD's and industry partners.
Coordinate and participate in New Student Orientation; awards ceremonies for DC Pathway Completers, graduation ceremonies and college signing events.

Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills
Minimum associates degree in appropriate field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum experience 2 years in higher education, student recruitment, advisement, admissions, financial aid, or a related field. Previous student tracking and reporting experience preferred.
Knowledge of higher education and student recruitment practices.
Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with college faculty and staff, administration, and students.
Proficiency handling multiple responsibilities and priorities. Excellent organizational, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong Verbal and written communication. Knowledge of academic policies and procedures preferred.
Computer fluency, including administrative software, reporting tools and communication software.
This job description covers a position in which the percentage of time spent on the essential functions will vary based on the workload and will ultimately be determined by the supervisor.
