Position Summary
Oversee and implement a credit-union-wide security plan. Supervise the protection of TTCU employees, members, and its assets. Manage and oversee Security Officer schedules, training, recertifications, and duties. Provide credit-unionwide training to all employees, including creating and developing emergency protocols and response teams with the Vice President of Facilities and Construction. Direct all security card access and security cameras including access protocols and daily maintenance. Manage incidents at TTCU facilities and prevent/plan for incidents by identifying and mitigating facilities vulnerabilities through regular, scheduled facility assessments. Ensure departmental goals and objectives are met in the highest quality and most professional manner, while encouraging the safety and retention of the TTCU membership. Identify and hire top talent Security Officers to develop and mentor for future growth and development.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
45% - Oversee a credit-union-wide security plan. Manage direct reports (Security Officers) and daily operations.
Responsible for managing, directing, and administering the daily operations, programs, and functions affecting the safety, security, and emergency preparedness of TTCU facilities and employees - ensuring that all employees and members enjoy a safe and secure work environment. Serve as a liaison with all safety and security inspectors, regulatory and enforcement agencies.
25% - Staff Development including identifying and hiring the right people to achieve production goals. Ongoing training, motivation, and staff development by coaching the right habits and procedures of industry standards and TTCU core values. Develop, coordinate, and provide safety and security protocols, emergency preparedness training and drills/events throughout the credit union to maximize efficiencies and protect TTCU assets. Provide ongoing feedback to Security Officers to include monthly discussions of performance and industry best practices. Annual appraisals to discuss performance and production for previous year and set goals for upcoming year. Monitor and maintain Security Officer professionalism with internal and external customers with a level of quality held to TTCU standards of excellence and service.
20% - Oversee TTCU security plan to ensure safety and security protocols align with TTCU policies and procedures including insurance compliance and required certifications. Audit and assess TTCU facilities, emergency procedures, and incident reports. Schedule maintenance and repairs for security equipment when necessary. Evaluate and access facility vulnerabilities and deficiencies through regularly scheduled threat assessments and facilities walk-throughs Report vulnerabilities and countermeasure solutions to Vice President of Facilities and Construction for scheduled mitigation. Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports and security systems to ensure accurate monitoring and reporting. 10% - Establish annual budgets and review for variances. Collaborate with the Vice President of Facilities and Construction for updated training for Security Officers to stay relevant. Conduct weekly meetings with Vice President of Facilities and Construction.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required in security/safety administration other related fields (Criminology, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management) or equivalent military or federal law enforcement experience.
Certificates/Licenses: Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Clear background check and drug screening
Firearm Certification required
CPR Certification preferred
EXPERIENCE
Management experience: 6-8 Years
Leadership and experience in developing training options and coaching teams: 6-8 years
Emergency Management and Threat Assessment experience: 6-8 years

Working Conditions
Routinely perform work indoors in climate controlled private office or branch facilities. Routinely perform work outdoors when completing required building perimeter assessments, preventative security system maintenance, or security presence. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral directives. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be able to perform intermediate mathematical calculation with extreme accuracy.
