Work in a controlled environment with small groups of children to make money while you supervise our young swimmers.
Tuckaway Harbor is looking for lifeguards. Hours vary anywhere from 7-6 pm Monday - Friday. ALL REQUIRED LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATION WILL BE PROVIDED BY TUCKAWAY.
Job responsibilities include the following: Teaching swim lessons to children ages 2 to 12 years old. Creating lesson plans for water safety and swimming skills and completing assessments for each child. Overseeing pool activity and enforcing all rules and regulations. Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in your care. Previous teaching/ life-guarding experience is preferred. Maintains professional attitude and work behavior, assists in other capacities as determined by the Director. Attends all required staff meetings, and/or school functions as determined by the Director. Observes all rules and regulations of our program and the minimum standards set by the Virginia Department of Social Services pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
