We're seeking a Division 10 Project Manager/Estimator for a client of ours based out of their Queensbury, NY branch. You’ll represent one of the largest one stop sources for over 100,000 commercial building products including acoustical ceiling systems, architectural doors & hardware, drywall & steel framing, insulation, and exterior systems. The company has 10 branches spread throughout New England & New York. This person will have a full understanding of the Division 10 division. This person will lead the Division 10 sector – encompassing products such as the following: Partitions - Bathroom & toilet, Storage Specialties, Restroom Specialties, and Safety Specialties. COMPENSATION: Annual salary of $75,000 - $100,000 | $800/month car allowance | Gas expenses covered BENEFITS: PTO • Overtime • 401K matching • Dental, vision, and life insurance • No weekends Essential Functions Reviews plans and specifications for product quantities/specs and review blueprints and construction contracts. Provides accurate cost estimates for bid preparation. Identifies conflicts, code issues and other design questions to the salesperson and architect. Evaluates vendor quotes for accuracy and places product orders for large and small projects in a timely manner in order to meet the construction schedule and purchase within the project budget. The purchasing function of the position has potentially large dollar and scheduling impact on a project and the project s potential profitability and therefore attention to detail, accuracy and promptness are crucial. Ensures accuracy of product orders and compliance with drawings, specifications and approved submittals and shop drawings. Communicates effectively with internal and external customers as well as architects both verbally and in writing Communicate with factories and suppliers, track deliveries and keep the GC informed Communicate with installation supervisor and resolve product issues and delivery schedule issues Identifies and processes all change orders, prepares direct entry sales orders and purchase orders Coordinates project submittal process and provide close-out documents as required Minimum Qualifications 2 year degree in Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology or equivalent experience 3 years in the Division 10 industry preferred Must be able to read and understand construction contracts and interpret blueprints, specifications and plans Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
