Mid Protocol and Events Officer for Strategic Partnerships and Communications
Successful applicants will demonstrate:
Ability to plan, organize, and logistically support meetings and events for various audiences and purposes within time limits. Examples include but are not limited to program related meetings, all-hands meetings, front office and leadership off-sites, and new concept industry days or workshops. Experience in the provision of meeting support services to include planning, organizing, scheduling, agenda planning, and preparing conference material and proceedings preparations. Ability to obtain audioâ??visual services/equipment and security services at NGA, nonâ??NGA locations, and through webcasting services. Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills and ability to liaise with event or engagement stakeholders to identify needs and ensure satisfaction across a broad range of possible stakeholder types, such as senior executives, research scientists, and external guests and their associated staff. This includes the responsibility for driving scheduled events, meetings, and engagements from conception through to completion. Ability to propose ideas on communications, events, and general protocol focused on improving provided services, coordination, and overall quality of events, meetings, and general engagement activities. Ability to speak to an audience and serve as a master of ceremonies in setting up, operating, and generally hosting a meeting and event.
Required Skills and Experience of the Engagement Coordination, Event Planning, & Protocol Communications Officer (Senior)
- BA/BS or MA/MS in communications, psychology, management or equivalent degrees
- 15 years of experience
- US Government Issued Top Secret Security Clearance (TS/SCI)
- US Citizenship
