QUALIFICATIONS :

1. High School Diploma

2. Experience in Data Processing preferred

3. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

REPORTS TO :

JOB GOAL :

Aids in the efficient operation of the Data Processing Department for the ultimate benefit of the district's educational and administrative operations.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Converts source documents into computer-acceptable form by the use of a keyboard machine.

2. Keys and verifies results according to procedures provided.

3. Maintains sequence and control of source documents.

4. Recognizes and corrects errors in original entry data prior to processing.

5. Recognizes deficiencies in source documents and returns them for correction(s).

6. Perform other duties as assigned.

The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

EVALUATION :

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
