Overview:
Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the eight core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Salesforce Admin, you will join Turnberry's Salesforce practice and consult in the Enterprise Applications service. Turnberry's Enterprise Applications service provides talent partnerships, project delivery, system stabilization, and value realization for clients' key platforms and systems.
Upon joining the client, you will be responsible for functional project leadership - playing a key role bridging business and technology teams, driving solution design, to coordinate development efforts, conduct user acceptance testing, plan for and support new releases for our emergency messaging, business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management, and the risk management resilience applications tool suite!
Additionally, this role will be counted on in the gathering and documenting of business requirements, providing technical requirements to the developers, and liaising with other technology teams/third party providers/business partners to build and support solutions that meet business needs, align with business goals, and improve access to our risk and resilience posture.
Responsibilities:
Support the migration of technology risk management, disaster recovery and business continuity into our SaaS platform - Fusion Risk Management including:
Responsible for the effective and accurate configuration of the SAAS system. This will include developing of business user requirements and testing resources to maintain the system
Responsible for understanding system requirements, tasking and estimating features, and following work management life-cycle processes such as keeping work items current in Service Now
Understand version control, small check-ins, labeling, versioning and deployment best practices for both source code and database deployments
Understanding and developing data requirements to establish a data foundation in Fusion for applications, locations, and business processes
Actively participate in applications planning/strategy meetings and provide input on the most appropriate and effective use of applications
Provide guidance and assistance to the applications users and support teams on all aspects of application deployment, training and support, including installation, configuration, and first and second tier support. Identify and resolve issues, including issue tracking and escalation
Provide support for special projects, key activities and business initiatives
Ability to lead and support with a high level of analysis, independence, and multi-tasking:
Business requirements & scope approvals
Design and development planning
Application testing, validation, and user acceptance
Education, documentation, training, and release cycles
Conduct training program, including developing training materials, manuals and quick reference guides as needed
Provide overall application support
Handle release cycle
Establish version control, source code management
Conduct client check-ins
Work across the development team and business partners to identify improvement opportunities, and drive understanding and consensus for the implementation of new processes, procedures, or releases
Responsible for change management, problem management, disaster recovery management, and release management for the application solutions we support
Mentor junior staff
Ability to work independently with little direction to drive the understanding of requirements and work across the team for the implementation of new processes, procedures or implementations in the portfolio toolset (Sharepoint, Service Now, Fusion Risk Management, SendWordNow)
Ability to develop proposed work for review, feedback and approval
Collaborate closely with project team, business user, and multiple groups across the company to define and implement product features
Maintain confidentiality given sensitivity of business and employee information
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years designing and configuring Salesforce screens and workflows with a deep understanding of custom and innate capabilities
Testing, documenting requirements, and deployment of projects, while also being adept in the development and implementation of Salesforce
Knowledge of Agile processes and principals; proficiency in prioritizing and leading Scrum team backlogs
Strong interest and competence towards continuous improvement, process efficiency and scale, and technology and automation solutions
Undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and/or equivalent work experience
Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design, and data
OnSolve/SendWordNow exposure
Experience with Asana and ServiceNow
Media and Entertainment experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Comfortable learning, using, and explaining new technology
Superb communication (both verbal and written) skills, along with documentation and report generation
Optimal analytical and conceptual thinking skills & the ability to influence collaborators and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
Ability to work as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment
Software Lifecycle Management experience
The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $160,000 or the hourly equivalent.
