Position Summary:
The Electrical Apprenticeship Manager is responsible for coordinating strategies, partnerships, and programs that create, expand, and strengthen opportunities for Electrical apprenticeship in the TurnPoint Academy. The Electrical Apprenticeship Manager will create and oversee the Electrical apprenticeship program, coordinating programmatic activities with the industry partners. This individual will also assist the Senior Director and People Team in designing and realizing broader strategic goals around the Electrical trade.
Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000 Bonus
Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate the Electrical apprenticeship journey from recruitment to timely completion.
- Plan, implement, monitor, and report on Electrical apprenticeship program to the People Team.
- Implement an Electrical apprenticeship development and approval process.
- Create an Electrical apprenticeship recruitment, registration, and management process.
- Ensure education and employment training is accessible and delivered to expand Electrical apprenticeships and meet economic company development goals.
- Maintain strategic partner relationships with employers, high schools, local community colleges and trade schools, development organizations, and business leaders to sustain the growth of apprenticeships in the specific industry of Electrical work.
- Recruit and support students in their designated programs and oversee the management of Electrical apprentices during their education and on-the-job training programs.
- Collaborate with the People Team to assist Electrical apprentices with career readiness skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with students, other employees, federal and state agencies, and the general public.

- Identify opportunities for Electrical apprenticeship innovation and expansion; forge relationships with key stakeholders in targeted industries.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with businesses, schools, industry groups, and other partners to explore and incubate new Electrical apprenticeship opportunities.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience.
- Journeyman or Master level experience and qualification
- 15-20 years of learning and development experience including developing, implementing, and delivering training.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
- Strong consultative approach
- Measuring and evaluating impact experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
- Knowledgeable of goals, objectives, and operations of the TurnPoint Academy.
- Experience working with education or apprenticeship programs.
