Opportunity Overview
TuSimple’s Office Manager provides leadership and guidance to our pool of administrative professionals. Partnering with the Head of Business Support, the Office Manager assists with the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Administrative Share-Services offerings which streamline our business operations.
The Office Manager consistently looks for new ways to add value and create efficiencies for our business.
*Full Time Onsite in Tucson, AZ**
Role Responsibilities
- Shapes office culture and creates an employee experience that fosters a sense of belonging to TuSimple through engagement activities and social events.
- Participates in strategic planning and objective setting for the Business Support department, providing sound feedback and input to advance departmental objectives and business goals.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to support initiatives and drive operational performance.
- Under guidance from the head of Business Support, oversees all aspects of the office supply and snack procurement process, ensuring compliance with aligning policies and internal controls.
- Contributes to and facilitates the development and implementation of space planning strategies for assigned locations.
- Builds morale, motivates and instills productivity and teamwork, creates and promotes a positive and supportive work environment. Creates a culture of continuous improvement for processes, systems, data, training, people, etc.
- Manages covid protocols.
- Manages internal and external meetings and demos (meeting room prep, ordering lunch, etc).
- Provides support in the recruitment, training and development of top-quality talent, ensuring a high level of performance and productivity. Builds morale, motivates and instills productivity and teamwork, creates and promotes a positive and supportive work
Experience & Skills Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years Administrative experience
- 2 years experience leading a team of Administrative professionals
- Proven ability to drive amazing customer experiences and results through team development.
- Ability to structure and develop thoughtful and practical recommendations driven by fact-based analysis.
- Ability to independently develop presentations for communication with senior management.
- Strong research skills.
- Proven ability to maintain excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Superior analytical and decision making skills with established understanding of business implication of decisions.
- Demonstrated experience building and improving processes and promoting quality.
- Experience with diplomatically managing multiple commitments to customers, staff, and operations.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, understand and interpret stakeholder needs .
- Strong organizational skills, ability to coordinate multiple tasks and support projects of varying complexity concurrently.
- Established history of taking a thoughtful action-oriented approach for meeting the demands of multiple internal customers and operational needs.
