Job Description
Out team, Calibration and Localization, is a significant player in the autonomous driving system. At Tusimple, our team is mainly responsible for sensor calibration and ego localization. You will work with the best talents to develop the state-of-art algorithms for online/offline sensor calibration and ego localization that meet ASIL level functional safety.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality and product-level solutions to challenging structured and unstructured calibration problems
- Design and develop rigorous, automated, verificable, and scalable calibration process
- Develop sensor calibration and validation techniques for both onboard and offboard use
- Work on variety sensors such as camera, LiDAR, radar and IMU
- Collaborate with other engineers to conduct system integration and tests
Qualifications
- MS in Robotics, Computer Vision, Computer Science or 1 year related experience
- Strong design and coding skill in C/C or Python
Preferred:
- PhD in Robotics, Computer Vision, Computer Science
- Solid understanding and knowledge of variety sensor technologies (camera, lidar, radar, and IMU)
- Experience of sensor calibration
