Lunda Construction Company has a great opportunity for an experienced Class A CDL driver for our Waukesha, WI yard location. Come join a great team!
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle
- Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs
- Ensure contents are properly secured in a tractor trailer, truck, and flatbed
- Assist with deliveries that are needed at job sites with tractor trailer
- Assist yard operators in daily operations of loading and unloading trucks
- Assist with daily yard duties as needed
- Must meet established production standards and work in accordance with company policies & Federal/State Laws
- Comply with DOT rules and regulations
- Understands company safety program and participates in safety inspections
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work in a team environment or independently
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required
- Forklift, loader and equipment experience a plus
- Tanker endorsement is a plus
- Flatbed experience
- Ability to continuously stand or walk
- Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work overtime, as needed
- Ability to haul oversize loads
