Tuuci, the worldwide leader in premium shade products for commercial and residential settings, seeks a next generation Credit Manager to oversee all aspects of its credit and accounts receivable functions and help lead its ambitious plans for the future. Founded nearly a quarter century ago in Miami, Tuuci reinvented the shade category through artfully designed, precisely engineered, and meticulously produced outdoor umbrellas. Today, the privately held company operates a 250,000 square foot production facility in Miami and a 62,000 square foot production facility in Vietnam, while partnering with a network of strategic suppliers around the world.

Scope of Position:

Responsible for overseeing credit risk and all accounts receivable operations. Position is responsible for implementing and maintaining a system of processes and controls that will balance credit risk while maximixing sales opportunities.

The Credit Manager position is based in Miami and reports to the VP of Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Credit and Risk -
• Recommend updates to and maintain the corporate credit policy.
• Review, approve credit applications, set terms and credit limits.
• Conduct periodic credit reviews.
• Create a credit scoring model.
• Create and drive the strategic operating plan within own area of responsibility.

Accounts Receivable -
• Supervise the Accounts Receivable team who are responsible for invocing, collections, and application of cash receipts.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation and efficiency through policy, procedure, process and systems.
• Monitor aging and discuss corrective actions with Accounts Receivables team and Sales.
• Managing the order to cash receipts cycle to ensure working capital objectives are achieved.
• Monitor, review and release or hold customer orders to production based on customer’s account status and credit worthiness.

Ideal qualifications and past experience

Primary
• 7 years’ experience in commercial credit and collections, with 2-5 year in leadership role
• Leadership skills, able to mentor and inspire team
• Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess good business acumen
• Attention to detail and precision with financial and operational matters
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems such as Infor CSI, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP
• Outstanding analytical skills and judgment
• Proficient at managing complex projects
• Effective oral & written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or greater

Preferred
• Demonstrated success in a high-growth environment
• Experience with founder or family-led organizations
• Tenure with design or creativity-driven enterprises
