Our client, a financial services and digital payments company, is seeking a Logistics Program Manager.
This position is an on-site 5-month contract. You must be able to work in Oakland, CA, and have no H1B Visa status. The hourly rate is $58.62 paid holidays through Talent Table.
Job Description:
We seek a dynamic, collaborative leader who delivers excellence in reverse logistics solutions, focusing on return fraud prevention. As part of the Hardware fulfillment team, this individual will play a critical role in supporting our reverse logistics program in the US/CA and will be involved in projects aimed at addressing gaps, enhancing efficiency, and mitigating risks.
You Will:
- Evaluate the existing RL workflow (from return initiation to warehouse receipt) and establish new processes for tracking and reporting reverse logistics activities.
- Utilize data analytics to understand return patterns, reasons, and optimize processes, including identification of suspicious trends like frequent or unusual returns.
- Monitor and reconcile return activity and stay ahead of evolving fraud tactics and trends, including review of return policies, procedures, and technologies.
- Collaborate with Client-owned carriers and internal stakeholders (including Shop, Risk, Trust and Safety) to combat unauthorized returns and abuse of returns policies.
- Support other RL continuous improvement initiatives.
- Integrate sustainability considerations into reverse logistics initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of supply chain business management experience.
- A robust understanding of 3PL reverse logistics processes.
- A strong attention to detail and comfort with ambiguity.
- Proficiency with data/visibility tools (Looker, Snowflake); a general understanding of warehousing systems (WMS/ERP/OM).
- Effective project management skills and an independent approach to problem-solving.
- Proven ability to identify and lead data-driven continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement scalable tools and processes; define and monitor key metrics and KPIs.
- Excellent verbal/written communication.
