About the job
This position is needed to develop and grow the Healthcare and Life Sciences vertical. You will work at the intersection of product, sales, partnerships and marketing to define and drive adoption of Twilio’s products and solutions in the market. As the domain expert for Healthcare and Life Sciences, you will lead our market narrative and unique point of view.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Define the GTM and marketing strategies in collaboration with sales, marketing and product.
- Craft positioning, messaging and a differentiated narrative that resonates with customers, partners and analysts.
- Help define industry offerings/solutions along with product and partner teams.
- Ensure we are investing in the right marketing channels and tactics based on business impact.
- Support the sales and marketing organizations in executing programs to drive business growth.
- Be the industry evangelist externally and be the voice of the customer internally.
- Work cross functionally to ensure alignment on direction and smooth execution.
- Manage and grow a team of dedicated industry product marketers.

Required:
- 10 years of overall experience with at least 2 years in product/industry marketing.
- Subject matter expert in the Healthcare and Life Sciences industries with a deep understanding of the buying process and ecosystem players.
- Led industry marketing for one or more industries at a large enterprise.
- Defined GTM strategies (across marketing, sales and partnerships) and industry marketing best practices with demonstrated success in gaining industry market penetration/share.
- Worked at a software/technology company and defined industry solutions and offerings.
- Known to be a strong collaborator who can reach across teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership to drive alignment and build positive relationships.
- Skilled at balancing urgent short term needs with strategic long term priorities.
- Can thrive in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment.
- Seasoned people manager who enjoys empowering and growing high-performing teams.
Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Worked at a large, matrix organization.
Location
This role will be remote, and based in the USA.
Approximately 20% travel is anticipated.

- The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $160,080 - $220,110.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
