Job Title: Seamer

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday

1st Shift 7:00AM- 3:30PM

2nd Shift, 3:30PM – 12:00AM

Job Type: Full-time

Summary: The seamer plays a critical role in the success of Twin City Knitting by ensuring production meet standards, as well as ensuring production quality meets expectations.

What You’ll Do:

• Thread machines and check quality
• Seams foot
• Read production tickets to verify color and quantity
• Notify maintenance technicians of mechanical malfunctions
• Keep work area clean

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate with other co-workers.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts (basic math skills)

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

· Oral and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Pay: $14.25 - $14.75 per hour
