Maintenance Technician – Night Shift
$37.85 per hour benefits

An exciting opportunity to join a leading worldwide business, having recently expanded into the American market, they are searching for a Maintenance Technician to join them at their brand new, state of the art, automated distribution center.
This role is working a panama schedule (2, 2, 3) on 3rd shift, 5:00pm - 05:30am.
Alongside the salary, you will also receive 401k matching, medical, dental and life insurance, as well as a profit share scheme and a 3-week PTO allowance.
Resident Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Working on automated machinery such as conveyor systems, sortation equipment and robotics.
- Respond to and analyze breakdowns in line with also completing preventative maintenance.
- Mechanically, you will have responsibility for reading and interpreting assembly drawings, hydraulic & pneumatic work, working across belts, gearboxes, and chains.
- Electrically you will have responsibility for fault finding on PLC systems, including working on sensors, drives, inverters, motors, control panels and associated control systems along with blueprint/schematic reading.
Experience & requirements for the role:
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Technician/Electrician/Technician role.
- Worked on PLC systems, sensors, motors, inverters, control panels, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes previously.
- Experience in performing planned maintenance and responding to mechanical breakdowns.
- Worked within a fast paced, high-volume environment previously – FMCG, automated warehousing, food production, packaging or pharmaceuticals would be an advantageous transfer.
- Eligibility to work in the USA.
