Summary of Position : TYR Tactical is seeking a Contract Specialist / Technical Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing contract assignments in support of local or centralized procurement activity or in the audit / review of that activity and produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of TYR.
Duties & Responsibilities : Perform comprehensive contract review and evaluation with attention to detail and the ability to identify risks to the company.
Interpret contract requirements and contract change impacts.Develop a contract position and articulate that position to government and commercial customers.
Work with and communicate effectively with senior management to solve contractual issues.Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunitiesCreate and maintain the information architectureAssist the Contracting Officer and other Executives as necessaryOther duties as assigned Qualifications : A minimum of two (2) years of experience related to professional procurement and contracting, including the drafting of complex contracts, provisions, and solicitation documents.
Experience with government contracts is highly preferred.Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them understandable, relatable, and visual utilizing both text and pictures.
Exceptional communication and writing skills (English).Efficient, accurate, and trustworthy work habits.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
