Job Details: Summary: This position is responsible for selling deli foodservice products increasing market share and maintaining good customer relations with this established region in the Southeast region of the US. This region will require the CDM to maintain relations and increase account penetration at regional accounts. This position will require you to navigate the Deli Foodservice network of buyers, commissary managers, culinary coordinators that are responsible for all aspects of the Deli Destination to achieve maximum volume potential and profitability while maintaining Tyson’s standard of providing high quality products with excellent customer service. Category responsibilities include but not limited to fresh prepared meals, hot deli, cold deli, deli lunchmeat, service case and home meal replacement. This position requires conducting product pricing and promotional programs based on the customer direct and adjacent markets degree of profitability and personal objectives conducting evaluations of Broker performance based on mutually agreed upon plans and objectives and conducting Deli Sales meetings with brokers to give direction to our broker managers regarding the goals and objectives of the deli division. This position will work in close collaboration with many internal business units in foodservice and retail marketing, insights, retail execution, revenue management and others to achieve AOP sales goals and profitability metrics. Other responsibilities include ensuring the Customer along with our Broker partners know Tyson product features benefits and value-added qualities establishing a service and response level to the Customer that exceeds the industry standard and handling Customer questions and complaints on a variety of issues and ensuring problems are solved in a timely manner. Other duties include managing the Advertising Marketing fund and overseeing all price discounts directing the Broker Deli Sales Force on Tyson Deli objectives conducting retail store audits in the deli and performing other responsibilities as the need arises. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor’s degree required. Experience: 5 plus years sales experience; knowledge of Deli and Fresh Protein preferred. Computer Skills: Requires basic computer skills. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Special Skills: Project management and or strategic planning experience is required. Travel: 8 plus trips per year This position will sit remote. Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in these markets.
