Job Description
- Serve as an Equipment Specialist, IT-Radio Logistics Assistance Representative (LAR).
- Provide expert technical advice and instruction to users and maintainers of Military and Commercial Communications HF/VHF/UHF Radio Systems and associated software as well as Intercoms and subordinate systems.
- Monitor techniques and procedures, evaluate performance, determine future training needs and troubleshoot problems.
- Identify problems in design of equipment in order to recommend design changes.
- Utilize knowledge of design and manufacture of equipment to advise military personnel in operations and maintenance procedures on a wide variety of communications/electronic equipment and systems.
- Investigate trends in areas such as maintenance, supply, and training issues in order to recommend solutions.
- Review items such as the condition, stock levels, usage of repair parts and end items to recommend the appropriate path forward.
