What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Anesthetist position at U.S. Army?
Active Duty Nurse Anesthetists serve in the Army full-time for the duration of their service commitment. The duty location can include any one of the many Army posts across the U.S. as well as in Europe, Korea, Japan, and others locations worldwide.
As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in the Army Nurse Corps, you'll perform professional nursing duties of a specialized nature in the care of patients requiring general or regional anesthesia, respiratory care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, pain management and/or fluid therapy. You'll perform general or regional anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures, respiratory care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and/or fluid therapy. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team, surrounded by dedicated professionals who share your values and a passion for excellence. As a CRNA, you will be an integral component of the U.S. Army health care team. The work you'll do is not only an essential service, but also life changing. You may also participate in humanitarian missions, providing badly needed medical care to victims of natural disaster or conflicts abroad. You may be deployed to provide medical support to America's Soldiers in a variety of overseas locations.

Requirements
- Current, valid, and unrestricted license as Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Other advanced life support certifications are encouraged
- Board Certification as CRNA
- Master’s or Doctorate of Nursing Anesthesia Degree from Council on Accreditation a CRNA program

Pay: $160,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
